God’s Original Intent

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth . . . and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
(Genesis 1:1 & 2:7)
When God created this earth and everything upon it, including man, He made absolutely no mistakes! How can I be so certain? – because God is God and incapable of making any mistakes.
“Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.”
Yes, everything God made was created in perfection, right from the placing of the earth in the proper orbit around the sun – not too close lest we burn up and not too far lest we freeze to death. Also, the percentage of oxygen was just right to sustain human life, while the percentage of carbon dioxide was just right to sustain plant life.
After God completed His creative handiwork, there was this gorgeous garden containing man’s food supply, in a sustainable climate, in a picturesque and tranquil setting! It was all there in perfection. Here is what God had to say about all He had made:
“And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.”
Then God creates that first man (Adam), followed by that first woman (Eve), His crowning creations, and places them in the midst of this gorgeous garden He had created. And God “blessed them” and says to this first couple: “Be fruitful and multiply . . .” (Genesis 1:28)
If it were possible to trace your ancestral beginning back far enough, you would find your forefathers originated in a GARDEN called Eden.
“And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.”
Though man has wandered far from this original Garden setting into which He placed His first human creations, it was there in that very first chapter of Genesis God revealed His original intent for the proper nourishment of not only the physical bodies of Adam and Eve, but each one of us living today:
“And GOD said: Behold, I have given you every herb (vegetable) bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat (food).”
(Genesis 1:29) (A good concordance will reveal the word “meat” found here should be translated “food”).
As time passed, man started wandering further and further from the garden foods God originally ordained for human nourishment and began eating foods not found in the garden. What has been the result of wandering so far from God’s original intent and instruction? The human race has suffered greatly.
It is interesting to note that prior to the great flood in Genesis 9:3, while man lived exclusively on a plant-based diet, there is not a single recorded instance of sickness. As he began consuming non-garden foods, sickness started to manifest and today sickness abounds. In fact, there has never been a time in history when mankind suffered from so much disease.
Although man has gained much knowledge and we have many doctors and drugs to deal with this increase in disease, need for doctors continues to rise, more drugs than ever are being prescribed, and the cost of health care continues to increase, while the people progressively get sicker. What’s wrong with this picture, and how can we change direction?
Hallelujah Acres To The Rescue
It is the goal of Hallelujah Acres to bring the people of today, as much as is humanly possible, back to the simplicity and purity of that original garden diet and setting. Yes back to God’s original intent – a simple diet, active lifestyle, freedom from stress and sickness, as enjoyed by that original couple.
No doubt, you may think it too simplistic, unattainable, and “pie in the sky” to have any chance of attaining this today, but bear with me for a few moments.
Here at Hallelujah Acres multitudes from around the world are experiencing incredible health and healing results when they apply the biblical principles being proclaimed by Hallelujah Acres. Even in this stressful, polluted, sick world in which we live, these people are seeing exciting things happening in their bodies and in their lives.
They are seeing almost miraculous healings, resulting in a healthy glow, bright eyes, happiness and enthusiasm for life, as well as a heightened appreciation for God’s original intent. They also find themselves better able to communicate with and serve their Creator God because of this new found health they are experiencing.
What was it that initiated all of these benefits? Friends, it was simply a change in diet and lifestyle based on the information revealed to us by God in the first two chapters of the book of Genesis.
Christians Fail to Appreciate Their Physical Bodies
For the past 2000 years, since Jesus walked this earth and established His church, the Christian community has focused almost exclusively on the soul and spirit of man while giving scant attention to the physical body/temple needs. Actually, the Christian church has almost totally ignored the physical body, the temple (dwelling place) of the Holy Spirit.
“What? Know ye not that YOUR BODY is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in YOUR BODY, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
(I Corinthians 6:19-20)
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.”
(I Corinthians 3:16-17)
Church leaders often take scripture out of context by suggesting that the physical body is “wicked.” But it isn’t the physical body that God so marvelously created that Jeremiah is saying is so wicked, rather God is saying here that it is: “The HEART (that) is deceitful and desperately wicked. . . “ (Jeremiah 17:9)
Of this physical body we each possess, the Bible says we are to: “. . . present your BODIES a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. . . And be not conformed to this world . . . ” (Romans 12:1-2)
Listen to what the Psalmist had to say concerning the physical body we each possess: “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and WONDERFULLY MADE: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” (Psalm 139:14)
When we look at the anatomy of man we find that truly, we are “WONDERFULLY MADE.” Right from the moment of conception, exciting things start to happen as the father’s sperm fertilizes the mother’s egg, and the genetic instructions from both parents interact to begin developing a new human life.
From the very moment of conception, these cells begin to divide – the original two cells become four, than eight, then sixteen, then 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, and so on, as a new human body continues to develop. Within five to nine days, the sex can be determined. By day 15 the heart is forming and by day 24 the heart is beating.
In 42 days the skeletal is formed and the brain is coordinating movement of muscles and organs. Within eight weeks, every organ is present, the heart is beating steadily, the liver is making blood cells and the kidneys are functioning. And so development continues until about nine months after conception when the child is born.
How did the mother and father, and the infant growing in mother’s body know how to do all of this? There is only one answer my friend . . . God programmed it all into that original couple Adam and Eve. This instinctive knowledge has been passed down to each of us through the DNA and RNA to every generation since then.
Dead minerals colliding with a “BIG BANG” eons and eons ago could not produce life. Even if it could, it could not produce such intelligent design. I am so glad I can trace my ancestral beginning back to God rather than a monkey swinging by its tail from a tree branch. Evolution sadly tries to explain the origin of human life apart from God.
How Did God Design Man To Be Nourished?
To answer this question we need knowledge. The only source of true knowledge is God and His Word the Bible where we read: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable . . .” (II Timothy 3:16-17)
But in Hosea 4:6 God says we have a problem. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” If God has provided us with a book of knowledge, how is it that we are so ignorant today regarding the physical body and how to properly nourish it? The answer: We have listened to the teaching of man rather than the instructions of God.
And what does God have to say about the world’s wisdom we have been programmed to listen to and follow? “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.” (I Corinthians 3:19)
As we seek knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, the first thing we must understand is that the human body is a living organism, comprised of approximately 100 trillion living cells. Every part of our body is made of these living cells . . . our blood, skin, muscles, eyes, heart, liver, bones, etc., yes our body is comprised 100% of living cells.
Each living cell is a miniature generator that requires fuel and oxygen to generate the electrical energy needed to power the body. The body also has a defense mechanism known as the immune system to protect us from germs, viruses and bacteria. Then there is the nervous system which transmits impulses throughout the body.
The endocrine system coordinates functions of the glands. The respiratory system controls our oxygen intake. The circulatory system involves movement of the blood, and there is so much more. Truly, we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14)
If we want to know how to maintain wellness, we must first understand how God made us, how God designed our bodies to function, and what foods God provided us in order to live in health and free of sickness. HEALTH was God’s original intent for his human creation.
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in HEALTH, even as thy soul prospereth.”
(III John 2)
A person can obtain and maintain wellness without doctors or drugs — simply by applying God’s original intent as set forth in the scriptures, along with the knowledge gained from tens of thousands of people who have applied the teachings of Hallelujah Acres.
